PIONEER'S KIN. General Santos City Mayor Pedro Acharon, Jr. in a souvenir shot with (from right) Carmelita Larrabaster-Vinson who flew in from San Diego, California and her sister, Zamboanga-based Shirley, both daughters of Lt. Jesus Larrabaster, former pioneer and overseer of the Marbel Settlement District when it was created on January 10, 1940 under the National Land Settlement Administration. Together with them is (extreme left) Koronadal Program Evaluation Officer Jennifer Malinao. They were guests of the Koronadal LGU which celebrated its Hinugyaw Festival this week.
